High Speed Steel Rolls

HSS (High-Speed Steel) Rolls are high-performance, wear-resistant rolls designed for the most demanding applications in hot rolling mills, especially for finishing stands of bar and wire rod mills. Engineered with a fine microstructure and alloyed with elements like vanadium, molybdenum, tungsten, and chromium, HSS rolls offer superior hardness, excellent thermal fatigue resistance, and outstanding wear resistance under high temperatures and rolling pressures.

  • High Wear Resistance: Outstanding durability ensures extended roll life and reduced downtime.
  • Excellent Thermal Fatigue Resistance: Performs exceptionally under cyclic thermal loads without cracking or spalling.
  • Superior Surface Finish: Delivers smooth rolled surfaces, crucial for high-quality steel products.
  • High Hardness (up to 80 HSC): Maintains hardness even at elevated temperatures.
  • Consistent Microstructure: Uniform carbide distribution ensures reliable performance and minimal surface defects.

  • Finishing stands of bar mills, wire rod mills, and TMT mills
